OK, so I have this friend that I have recently had a huge, ridiculous, fight with and now this person doesn't want to give me the time of day. Not to mention the fact that they seem to be very proud of how mean they can be about things. Now I ask you this...does this sound like a friend to you? Someone who says they really do care about you shouldn't be able to turn their attitude towards you around that quick right?!
Just needed to vent a little because I really care about this person and I am very hurt by this whole situation. It was something stupid to begin with but not something that should cause 2 people that care about each other to quit talking completely!
Do you agree??
Posh and Becks have moved to Los Angeles: [is this good?]
Yes it's good and I am tired of people judging them before they get to know them. They deserve a chance just like anyone else in this country!!!!!
Why do you live where you live?
Submitted by memtony.
Born and raised here. My whole family is here and growing up I just wanted to move away. Of course, I did exactly that and realized how much I love it here so I came back home :)
That is the headlines in the Daily News Max Magazine. WOO HOOOO!!!! We had a blast Saturday night. We hosted our first Art & Salsa Social and the shop and it was a HUGE success. We had 3 wonderful Salsa dancers dancing and teaching and had a blast watching our customers join in. One of the Salsa dancers is also my house local artist by the name of Suzanne Grover. She is a hoot. Tiny lady with a big heart. Check out the links below to read all about what went on. Suzanne also presented a Marine Corps wife with a print that her husband commissioned from Iraq. Very touching moment! Check it out....

Talk to you soon...
TV, books, movies: Who's your favorite fictional father?
Definitely Atticus Finch! What an awesome role model and great dad!
My grandmother turned 90 on Friday and she is still moving around better than me :) She is such an inspiration. Here are some pics from her Sunday School Class party on Friday and from her cookout at my Uncle Danny's on Saturday night. She was having the time of her life!!!!
So...kudos to Mema and we hope to be celebrating like this again in 10 years :) As for me, I had a great weekend my cousin Ashley (the pretty one sitting with Mema in the pics) and her boyfriend Corey. They stayed with us and we had a blast. What an awesome couple!!! I hope to be going to their wedding soon. HEE....hint, hint. Oh yes, and today is Father's Day..oops...my wonderful husband got up and cooked us a great breakfast this morning and after we ate I was sitting on the couch and had a revelation...AHHHHH!!!! today is Father's Day. YIKES! Sorry honey. I did redeem myself I hope by making a great Taco dinner with homemade guacamole. YUUUUMMMMYYYYY! I would like to wish my daddy a Happy Father's Day too. So...Happy Father's Day Clayton (his name isn't Clayton and those of you who know us know why we call him that...hee). Anyhoose, Chris is making homemade peach ice cream so I gotta run but before I go, I would like to tell my mom that she did a GREAT job on Mema's party Friday everything was awesome. And...Aunt Linda and Uncle Danny you did a GREAT job on Mema's party on Saturday.
Love you guys!
You know what I just realized??? Never before have I had to concern myself with a business being directly impacted by hurricanes but things have changed this year. I am extremely worried about hurricane season because if one comes this way, which EVERYONE is predicting, my little coffee shop is definitely going to suffer :( That is a very sobering thought.
Anyhoose, we had fun sitting around in the house this weekend enjoying old movies and the rain outside. Sometimes it just feels good to do absolutely NOTHING...hahahaha! Poor Tampa was hit pretty hard I hope my cousins are OK.
Until tomorrow...
How has everyone been? Sorry I haven't been around in a while but I am back now and I promise my dear friend David I will keep this up to date. The fam and I went out in the boat today and I must say it was VERY relaxing!!! We went out to one of our little islands and watched the inlet and all the crazies who don't know how to drive boats or jet skis trying to all cram on this one little island and found it quite amusing. HELLOOOOO.............there are PLENTY of islands for everyone out there for goodness sakes. HAHAHAHA! We all made sure we lubed ourselves down with sunscreen, 45spf, to be exact and it still didn't matter because we all look like lobsters :( So much for going back out tomorrow. Maybe Monday :)
We went to see Pirates at World's End tonight and WOW! FANTASTIC....worth every penny and worth sitting in the movie theatre for 3 hours too. Aunt Linda, you and Heidi definitely need to go see it..hee! Capt. Jack Sparrow and Will Turner on looking MI-T-FINE WOOHOOOOO! Especially at the end but can't tell you about that because that will definitely be a spoiler.
If you guys get out this weekend, come see me at the coffee shop! We have been busy but that's a good thing!
I hope everyone is having a great weekend! I have done absolutely nothing this weekend (again)! I am very relaxed now. The kids and I have been hooked on Fish Tycoon all day. I swear this game is addictive. If anyone out there knows any secrets on how to create fish that actually can make you some money please feel free to give them to me :)! For those of you who have no idea what I am talking about Fish Tycoon is a computer game where you get to breed fish and sell them for money. Pretty neat little game but it is very time consuming as you have to wait for the baby fish to grow up and sometimes that can take up to an hour.
